Great pics!! I love the old slow films, they make you take your time and set up your shot and the color and clarity are unmatched.

The old, slow films were the best...and what's wrong with your use of 50mm? These are nice images! I love how close you got to that deer! You must be one sneaky dude!

Thanks guys. I should have bought more of the Impressa 50 before it was discontinued and frozen it. I think I got about 6 rolls left. No not sneaky Ron. The family whose house you see in the background feeds the year round. I have watched them hand feeding the deer. All the shots are within the city limits.

... The other thing I relearned was how much I struggle to use a 50mm lens. It borders on hate ... It suddenly came back to me why I so rarely use the standard focal length - I'm constantly trying to move closer or further away. One of these days I'll step back over a river bank or something, all for the sake of 50mm .... And what was it you CLA-ed?

Glad I am not the only one who is not comfortable with a 50mm. It was a Nikon S2 that I had sent out to be CLA'd.

Bob: What is that red building with the teepee?

Ron
That building was one of the older fire stations in town that was bought and converted to, are you ready for this, the MAHMOWENCHIKE Child Care Centre. There is a screened in deck on the second floor of the teepee like structure attached to the original building. I always thought that it was an interesting conversion.

Glad I don't have to try to pronounce that! ;D Now that I look at it closer, I can see all the kiddie play things in the yard. Interesting use of the old fire station!

Ron
I am guessing that it is in the Oja-Cree language.
