Just a couple of shots from the Friendship Gardens taken while testing out the FE and 50/1.8 (not series E) lens. The place is interesting in that it really shows the cultural diversity of this area. Canadians have always come from somewhere else it seems even native Canadians if you go back far enough. Bob

Bob,
I agree with John. The third picture is the best of three good shots. What really makes it are the reflections and the clump of reeds at the left. Without them it would still have been a pretty picture. With them ... beautiful!

Bob,
I like them all but the last one is special. The bridge almost seems to float in the air.
Who did that wonderful sculpture in the first picture?
Mickey ( Another one of those incredibly lucky guys whose forebearers came from elswere but decided on Canada.)

Thanks guys, I guess that FE is working well. I don't know who did the sculpture in the first photo but next time I am there I will check that out.

I vote for the sculpture, too. The 50mm f1.8 Nikkor is one of the best bargains of all Nikkor lenses--and one of the sharpest.
