Yea, not much beats the British sense humour.

The English do have a good sense of humour, get hold of the following old TV series:
Mind your language Yes Minister Allo! Allo!

Hello,
Stumbled on here via Google while looking for "Empire Made". I have a small camera collection. It is a Petricolor 35D. I had it as a gift in 1972. I bought a Voigtlander BessaR and a good lens as I was sure that I could capture the decisive moment. I could not. Ah Well. The Petri is neat and takes good pictures (the cameraman is not so hot) and is a famous type being first with distance info in viewfinder.

Hi there! Welcome to the forum! Any collection is welcome here!! Mine fluctuates between none and too many Right now I'm working on collecting too many. I've had a few Petri cameras over the years, and am very fond of the late model rangefinders, when you can find one that works of course. How about posting a picture of yours? Doug

What's this? Talk about cameras intruding on the best comedy show on the internet!

grenouille,
I quit watching TV about 10 years ago to give myself 2 to 3 extra free hours per day. Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister are two of the very few programmes that I miss.

Doug,
There were so very many excellent British Telly series.
My favourite of them all, as I have read all James Herriot's books, was All Creatures Great and Small. I even visited Thirsk to pay homage to his memory.
