Just spotted this gobbler on our local auction site. Bidding has reached NZ$9.50 as I write. A quick internet search for 'NIKAMAI' found these faux SLRs turning up on Evilbay and other such sites in the Benelux region. Maybe a smart operator from Brussels or Amsterdam bought a conainer load. Despite the AF looking lens, the lovely 'Free Focus 50mm' screen printing reveals this wee stunner for what it really is. 'Pay by Credit Card and well give you, absolutel free...' And what the heck is FMDS anyway? Enoy!

Looks like the plastic "Cannon" camera all the pawn shops had a few years back.

On closer inspection, I realized the 'shutter release' is molded into the body (look closely). I guess that is the real shutter release up behind, sitting in a recess. Makes my Halina 35x look like a fine piece of craftmanship John, you are cleverer than I, I wouldn't have come up with that acronym no matter how hard I tried.

I just saw one of these things in a thrift store on Saturday. They were asking $30.00 for it! ;D That's more than I paid for my Minolta SRT MCII and Canon FTbn combined! And they both WORKED!!I'm sure they were offended when I walked out laughing! Roy

Classic Design China Digital Camera? No more plastic cameras. Now they are to be made of China. I wonder if they are dishwasher safe.
As for design. First prize for lumpiness.
