Hi all,
Picked up a Canon Sure Shot EX P&S this morning. I didn't really need another P&S but heck, it was only 50p (about $1) and it has a battery in it. It seems to work. When you take the first pressure a red light blinks. Is this AF? I can't see the lens move, and there's no motor whirr. Second pressure fires the shutter. There's a small round lens by the main lens, which I assume is AE sensor. Flash is automatic in low light once it has a film in to sense the ASA. I can't see any way to set the ASA manually, which might rule it out for bulk FP4 wound into old HP5 cassettes - I've got about a dozen.
Anybody used one and got any comments? I'll put a film in and try it, and if it's naff I'll bin it. If it works OK I might keep it in the car glove box.
