What P***** me off is that LSU, or any SEC team, can beat a top 10 team and only gain one place. But let the lose to a top ranked team and they plummet, in the polls. But not true for the BCS darlings. Once a team gets in 1st place it is nearly impossible to dislodge them. I say playoffs and get rid of the BCS

Case in point. USC, the darlings of BCS, lose to Oregon St and are still ranked in the top 5. #13 LSU beats #7 Tn. and only moves to #12. Ark. has only lost 1 game and is undefeated in the SEC and can only get to #11

LSU looked awesome against the Volunteers. The the athletic talent the Tigers have the only way they lose is when they beat themselves with mistakes.
You guys are lucky. If our non BCS Broncos lose one game they will go from 14th in the nation to probably 45th. Mid majors have absolutely no margin for error.

Boise State finished 12-0. Ranksed No. 8 in the BCS today. We're thinking about spending New Years in Glendale, AZ--the Fiesta Bowl watching the Broncos. Wish we could get 'em to dye the field blue! (You haveta follow American college football to understand that remark:))

About 8,000 Bronco fans made the 400-mile trip for the game. Most of them drove! Boise players said it was like a home game for them. Totally dominated the Wolf Pack -- a fairly decent team. that was only a 3-point underdog and had shut out their past two opponents. Held Reno to 170 total yards and four first downs. 38-7 final score with Reno's 7 coming on a defensive pick in the last quarter when it didn't matter. Nebraska or Oklahoma will probably be the Fiesta opponent.
OK, I've talked myself out.

Congrats Wayne. After the LSU/Ar. game it seems the best team, in the SEC, will not be in the championship game . I hope we get to play Mi. USC or Notre Dame. ;D However it looks like we will be scrimmaging in the Orange bowl against an ACC basketball school ;D

Yep. The Tigers obviously are the class of the SEC right now but got started too late. Don't think any of the ACC schools would be more than a practice game for LSU. The ACC is obviously the weakest BCS conference.
