Here are a couple more of my Pug Mr. B. Taken with Canon AE-1P on Kodak Ultramax 800. Using the FD 35-70mm zoom. With Flash. Without Flash.

Alex,
I am moved to tears by Mr. B's obvious distress. Couldn't you cheer him up and post a photo of him smiling?

Mickey Mickey, I cannot convey to you enough that pugs always carry a sad-looking face. Even when he is playing, walking, or eating, he still looks somewhat sad. BUT I MUST MAKE YOU UNDERSTAND, HE IS NOT IN DISTRESS. Here are a couple where he isn't "sad-looking".

He's about 6 moths old and obviously has some lab in him but is shorter, longer and has smaller feet than the average Lab pup of that age. In other words, he's a mutt!.

Her name was Leelah, she was a German Shepard-Rottwieler-Husky-St. Bernard (mutt). Shot with Canon AE-1 ISO 400 film, using my trusty 80-200mm lens.

This one was called Addlepate. Yes he is sleeping with his head in his food bowl.

Another shot of Asher Canon Powershot A1000 (autofocus has a little trouble with all black dogs).

Had the same focussing problems with Gus, Wayne. The best pictures turned out when he was at an angle to the light and his coat caught a sheen.
You did well with this one, there's a touch of that sheen over the eyes and on the muzzle.

More dogs than you can shake a stick at... These iconic statues are from the fabled Doggie Diner chain of eateries that once graced SF...
