I see this post is nearing 20 yrs old...so I'm sure the questions regarding filter size have long since been answered. I bought a new Mamiya/Sekor 1000DTL in winter of 1970. At the time I ordered it with an "Auto Mamiya/Sekor 55mm 1.4 . I have a Soligor 55mm polarizer filter on it. I loved this camera for it unique 'spot/average' through the lens light meter. It now is in need of repair as I believe the shutter is worn out after running well over 5,000 Kodachrome 25 slides through it. I'm not sure anybody will be able to fix the 'light leak through' that it is suffering with.
