Nice pictures, Bob.
For my taste you had the shutter speed just right to keep movement in the water to catch the spray without freezing it all to look like crumpled cellophane.

Thanks, everyones taste in what water should look like seems to be different. I think the shutter speed was 1/250 so it appears to be about right for fast moving water.

Bob, these are excellent shots. Dynamic! Our local waterways are much more sluggish and don't have that beautiful granite to run through. It must sound great too.

Bob,
To my Southern Ontario eyes those pictures are spectacular.
If it weren't for those speeding, tailgating, convoys of semis - 18 to 24 wheelers I would be up there much more often.

There is nothing like combining the Pre Cambrian Shield and a heavy run off especially for the sound.

Thanks, I know what you mean, the traffic is awful on the two day drive up.
If you guys are ever up this way we'd be happy to show you around.

Bob, great captures!! One definitely gets the feeling of the power of that water from those shots. I wouldn't want to be kayacking those rapids!
Great use of compostion, shutter and aperature....you had it all working! Great colors too!
