Rode one train--from Shangahi to the airport. At one point we were hitting 250 mph! Fastest train in the world. I'll post a couple of shots later in the transportation section.

Really enjoying the threads about your trip, Wayne. Commentary and photos are both super. Really like the night shots! Find it interesting that you hint at a hankering for the D100 again. I will admit that even as accustomed as I am to the weight of my all metal stuff, my backpack does get heavy! Must be something to do with my birth-date! OLroy!

It was more a combination of the D300 AND the 18-200 lens. It would have been better with my 18-70 Nikkor which I decided at the last minute not to take. The 24mm prime was a great focal length--works out to 35mm on digital.
