Number three is an absolute winner - fantastic shot!
I've ordered a pair of Ilford 1600 ASA films to experiment with a B&W filters as well.
Thanks for sharing these wonderful shots.

Nice pictures, Michael. Deep orange and red filters really add drama with black and white film. I used to play with filters a lot at one time, but my favourite 'filter' pic is this one of the B17 Sally B being bedded down for the night. It was actually quite early evening, but I cheated by taking the picture against the light, using the only filter I had with me, a 2x yellow, and cutting the exposure by a few stops . Film was FP4 and, from memory, the camera was a Canon A1. PeterW

Peter, I stumbled across your B-17 yesterday, somewhere else on this forum.
The archetypical looks of that aircraft are just wonderfully caught by you, it's a perfect shot IMHO, just perfect.
