MIK,
I would like to agree with you but the use of "vintage" for anything but wine and, perhaps, cheese always troubles me. eBay uses it indiscriminately and, I believe, incorrectly. It is too often used instead of "old" as it sounds more elegant but it is too vague.

Usually in the antique shop I work in we use the term vintage for anything 25yo+ and antique for anything 100yo+. So Mickey would be an antique. Yup. Something rare and precious.
