A great picture ! I like the B&W conversion, i think it brings out more details than the colored picture and it looks more dramatic. Your old German speaking friend is puzzling over the "kick the cat" phrase
Well here is another to chew on. I picked up a Tamron 90 macro and was playing with it. I think I am impressed with this lens and really like what it does to the out of focus areas. The shot was at f3.5 and is cropped for 8x11.
He is not one of those "suck up to your food source" kind of cats that rubs against your legs and trips you up. He is rather aloof but always thanks me when I give him his breakfast or supper. When he condescends to pay some attention to me or sleep at the foot of my bed or when he purrs as I pat him I feel deeply honoured. He is excellent company. We have many interesting discussions. He was the runt of the litter and Jeff named him Killer to make him appear tough.
Funny thing about pets is that they are often more attentive in discussions with them than kids are. Many times I walk into the kitchen to find our small dog, with it's front paws on the counter, paying close attention to what my wife is making. Sometime he even gets how to instructions. Got to love pets.
