Went to the local thrift store. I was hoping I'd find something nice for a change.......... I think that this qualifies as "something nice". The best part is that it only cost me 5 USD ! Life is good ;D Doug

Doug
I can tell you my T4 cost more than that new and I think you will be well pleased with the results from it. Gives great results for a plastic fantastic. Great find.

Doug,
I had one of the Yashica T series - (was it the T2?). I lent it to someone and it got dropped, one of the aperture blades becoming loose. It wasn't worth the cost of having it commercially repaired.
It took very nice photos. For me there was one big problem - the auto rewind at the end of the film would stop if you switched the camera off. At a leaving party someone picked the camera up and shot several photos, reached film end, but switched it off when it was about half rewound. I picked it up again, switched on and started taking photos again, The result was, of course, half a film double exposed.
I'll probably still have the camera somewhere - I don't tend to throw things out. It's more than 20 years since I last used it.
Dave.

I'm happy at finding it! Batteries for it are ca. 8 USD each, I go through a lot of them (CR123A), so I've ordered some online. I order my batteries directly from Hong Kong, and have for years. I've never been disappointed. It takes a week or so for them to get here though. I'll post some photos as soon as I get a chance to use it. Doug

MIK,
Mine had the same lens. I bought it in about 1986 or 87. That would have been the current model at that time.

I think I bought the T4 in Germany in 1994 or so.
