Hi Doug ! This looks unconfortable, we have somewhat between zero and -10° C here, but thank heaven, no snowfall. There comes a line of a song by Leonhard Cohen to my mind: " New York is cold, but I like where I am living..." MIK

Doug, I'm convinced the weather has decided to skip spring this year. Our crocuses are due to bloom next week. Our current daily max and mins are -2 to -10 centigrade. I'll take another look in April and see how the daffodils are doing.

From what I heard on the news, we're to have rain starting Monday, and a warm-up next week. I'm going to post some of Barb's flower photos. They're guaranteed to get me in the mood for spring Doug

Yesterday the sun was out and it was a warm 13 oC. I had the sunroof open on the car: the window too some of the time. When at parked up at 2 o'clock, I locked the car, carefully making sure I had shut the sun roof. When I got back to it at 5 o'clock I found that I had left the window open. It's a good job people in Liverpool are honest.

Only 23 days, indeed. Tell that to whoever is responsible for me having to clear the snow off my car twice this morning and it is not yet 9 am. Mickey

Mickey, You shouldn't get up and out so early. . I know the early bird catches the worm, but the silly worm wouldn't have been caught if he'd stayed in bed! PeterW

Dave,
Either that or the Scouse low-life are wary. They may have thought that the car was a plant by the police to catch them red-handed.

PeterW Ah, snow worms a la mode and ice wine, a great Canadian delicacy. Along with deep fried beaver tails covered with poutine. All to be savoured while lounging on the verandah of one's igloo. Daffs, they come up almost like weeds round here - but in Finland they are expensive - or so I was told about twenty years ago. The first of March was St. David's Day and the Welsh, in their droves, would have been sporting daffodils. Well, perhaps I exaggerate a little.

Supposed to be about 50 F with rain here today. A little warmer than normal for this time of year but we almost always have a few days in January, February and early March when it's golfing weather. About the time you get used to it, the temperature plunges and we get hit with a snowstorm.
