I just picked up a 1947 Bell and howell F-617 8mm video camera and handle with the original case and owners manual. It also has the tape in it and is in working condition. It was owned by Bob Silva who does the show "This Old House". Can anyone tell me if this has any value. I got it off a shelf in a Barn and just had to rescue it.

If it is from 1947 and 8mm it isn't a video camera. It's a motion picture camera that uses film and it must still have a roll of film in it (probably fogged if you opened the camera). 8mm movie cameras, with a few high end exceptions and worth almost nothing. Sort of like having a manual typewriter. Probably difficult to even get the fil processed now.
