Hi All! My brother in law just gave me a Ricoh KR-10 sans lens. There aren't any dents or dings and he told me that he paid a whole 2 Dollars for it. He thinks that it's broken because there's no lens on it ;D I can't tell if it's going to work or not; the shutter works on the flash setting (1/90 sec) and B, but that's it. I put fresh batteries in, and the meter moves when the camera is on. Everything I've found about it states that it's an aperture priority automatic, so maybe I need a lens for it to work properly. I guess I'll have to come up with a Pentax K mount lens somehow. Shouldn't be a problem for an old scrounger like me Doug

I remember the KR-10 - but not in detail. It sounds a bargain at $2.

Ricohs seem to have that problem a lot. I have one or two like it also. Try: www.butkus.org/chinon/ricoh/kr-10/kr-10.htmfor a manual but the KR10 works on a battery dependent shutter and can fire just fine using manual settings without a lens. Think the KR10 Super does too. Got a dozen or two Ricohs as they and Pentax were my main focus till I bought Minolta, Chinon, Nikon etc.
