Hi all, I want to share this BW photograph... I love this photo due to several reasons, first because that is my oldest daughter, Putri , 3 years ago when she was 8 years old. I shot her when we going out for had some jogging at a public area near my neighborhood Second, I made that photo using my Canon EE EX.. one of camera that make me start to love analog camera more than before, it is simple enough with its automatic mode and make me remember the 'feel' of my father's FT QL , a first camera I used to learn how to make a photo long time ago. Third, that was the first time I use Lucky SHD 100, a cheapest negative film that can find easily my region after the golden era of analog. A film with very thin emulsion and without anti-halo layer but I think it still can work if we shot at EI 200 and develop as a normal exposure. and the other reason is, that roll of film is the first film I developed after long time 'break' , and the one that make me happy is I can still use my old darkroom accessories... so it makes me feel like had a time tunnel that take me back to 20 years from nowadays. in a short, that photograph is one of milestone in my photographic live, so even it look so simple it has a lot of meaning for me.... didon.- ps. critics and comments are very welcome...

very nice indeed. Near perfect, in fact.
I remember using Lucky film a few years back, and look forward to tracking some down when back in China at the end of the month.

Very nice portrait and lots of meaning in your text.
Lucky SHD100 is a good film if you can avoid halo situations. I find it similar to old Kodak Plus-X.

Jolio thank you.... I never use Kodak Plus-X, what do you mean with 'similar'.... Plus-X dont have anti halo , or similar in grain appearance ? didon.-

Didon, super photo. The face, particularly the eyes, are in good focus, with the background nicely out of focus. Everything in the photo draws the viewer to the subject. (To be ultra critical: the one thing it does need is a little spotting out to remove the few black specks visible. This is quite easy in digital format, but not so easy on a print.)
