Hi All! I've got an old Winpro ( I'll post a new photo of it later ), and the shutter doesn't work right. It's a rotary shutter, and I didn't know how to find a drawing of it in order to do some repairs. I did some research and found the designers name, Julius Henne, got on the Google patent search site, and there it is! Can't wait to dig into it I've got an appointment, but will post a photo when I return home. Doug

It doesn't go round and round yet, but it will when I fix it. By the way, does anyone out there no how to clean bakelite, or tenite, or trolite, or any other early plastics? This one is made of Tenite, one of the first modern thermo plastics, developed by Kodak in 1929. I read that it is made from cellulose extracted from soft wood. Doug

Doug, Perhaps this will be of some help. There are variations of this shutter but the basic design should be similar. Mickey

Thanks Mickey! It does look similar. After taking the whole business apart, I see that some ham fisted person (maybe the one I got the camera from) went a bit screwdriver crazy. The shutter pieces are all bent out of shape That's why it didn't work in the first place. As new, or replacement, parts will be impossible to get, I was thinking that perhaps I can find a donor with a shutter assembly I can adapt to this camera. All is not lost! In the meantime, I'll get the plastic parts and lens cleaned while I decide what my next step will be. Doug
