You had a beautiful day for it. Looks like you enjoyed it as did everyone else in your photos.

Bob, It was a gorgeous day! My wife is not from Pittsburgh and has wanted to go to the Parade for years but going in 60 to 70 degree weather sure beats 10 above, snow and blowing wind! ;D A couple of more pictures. St Patrick "Hisself" And my wife took this picture and to the right you can just see my hand. In it is my Canonet QL17 GIII. I put the first roll of film through it since I replaced the light seals.

I wonder why Irish Setters are red, not green.

Larry, excellent. I'd recognise that hand anywhere now! Was that the hand that shook Joe Biden?
Mickey, interestingly (or otherwise): if you look at old paintings of Irish Setters they were red and white. Constant in-breeding has resulted in the all red coat - but also given the breed hip dysplasia as well as several other inherited problems.

Mickey, And here I thought they were red so you could see them in the Irish landscape. Dave, Actually yes and no. I was holding the camera in my left hand and resting them in my right. He shook my right hand and at the same time crossed his left arm over to shake my wife's hand. Ahhh the skills of a politician!

St. Patrick's day reminds me of the Irish Brothers who taught us in the catholic missionary school that I went to in my youth. At that time most of the missionary brothers were either Irish or French and they belong to the De La Salle Order. I never forget their favourite, "When Irish Eyes are smileing"
