Yesterday when I arrived home from work, there were two packages waiting for me. I eagerly tore into them, stopped and grabbed a knife (so I could get through the vast amounts of tape covering them, they would have been waterproof), recommenced opening them. Inside were a small assortment of bits and pieces that together make up a Kiev 88 TTL 6x6 SLR.
It came with the body, waist level finder, metered prism, Volna 3 80mm 2.8 lens, 2 6x6 backs, 2 filters (1 UV and 1 light yellow), screw on lens hood, strap and leather case.
So far it looks promising. I have gone over it and it seems easy enough to use. I will be heading out into the CBD of Sydney to buy some film (colour and B&W) and shoot off a few rolls. Once I get them developed, I will let you know how it went.
