Shot at the King Tut exhibit at the museum in Idaho Falls, Idaho. This is how Tut looked when his tomb was discovered. This isn't the real Tut. It's a very detailed replica. Shot a ISO 3200 with my Fuji P & S. W.

I think he is laughing at something. Perhaps the rubes who fell for this "replica". As P.T. Barnum said "There is a .......... You know the rest. I have read quite a bit about Tutankhamun and seen many pictures. I am only one of many curious and interested people - no authority. Here is the real guy in the "flesh?". He must have had a good dentist and eaten a healthy diet in the Kingdom of the Dead. Mickey

Well, he died at an age of 18-20 He became Pharaoh when he was nine. He was probably fed up with all the pomp and circumstance and needed a rest. Mickey

There was of course the all American Mummy, one Elmer McCurdy who's full and tragic story is on Wkipedia,(try and keep a straight face at the back!). Mummified by accident, he earned more in death than in life, being displayed in freak shows for 50 years, he was re-discovered in the 1970's and finally buried. They say it looked like someone might have given the boy king a rap behind the ear with a blunt object.
5 feet 4 inches, Mickey. Don't know what that comes out to in metric. 5-4 would be a scoring frenzy in soccer.Never have figured how someone could get so worked up about a sport where a "blowout" is 3-1.

Elmer McCurdy was the original incompetent thief, he robbed the wrong trains, once a passenger for a freight carrying money, and it is said the incident in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, where they blew up the whole carriage just to get at the money, was based on his exploits of using about 40 lbs of Dynamite to blow a door off! He blew the train in half! In death he earned far more than any of his crimes ever did.

Wikipedia tells us that "Tutankhamun was slight of build, and was roughly 180 cm (5 ft 11 in) tall." And that he probably died from an infection from an injury, possibly a broken leg. He also suffered from malaria. Poor guy. When I was young we never heard of soccer. Just the past couple of years I have watched the occasional game for short periods. I still don't understand it but can now appreciate the skills of its players. They are, however, the worlds worst actors when it comes to feigning injury. I could never attend a live soccer match. The constant noise would drive me mad. Now hockey. There is a real game. And the injuries are genuine. I will probably be excommunicated for saying this. Mickey
