I may have solved the Miranda mount problem, Miranda themselves once made a Leica to Miranda adaptor, so that can be used to mount on a Micro 4/3 to Leica adaptor. I will have to look around to find one of these devices, as I have several Miranda lens that can be put in to use again. Stephen, would this be the adaptor you mention, item 170970474882 on ebay? Yes, but it went way too high in price!, nearly £40 at last look. It will be cheaper to buy a complete Miranda to Micro 4/3, as per US Ebay listing quoted before, or make one from a teleconverter. The original on Ebay was Miranda to Leica, a useful conversion for Micro 4/3. Stephen.

Hi Yes ebay auction 170970474882 is for the the Miranda Lens to Leica body. I've been trying to obtain one of these for the past couple of years, in that time there have been about 4 come up on ebay.(I already had this one on my list). I've missed out on all of them. This time I was lucky and this adapter is winging it's way to New Zealand as I write. I'll let you know how it works combined with a Micro 4/3's - Leica adapter. I didn't want it for that reason I wanted it to add to my growing Miranda collection. I now have adapters for Miranda to Leica, Leica to Miranda, Pentax to Miranda, Exakta to Miranda, Nikon to Miranda, Contax-Miranda, now I'm looking for the Orion adapters and they are like looking for rocking horse s**t, wish me luck. Hi An update on the Miranda Bayonet/M44 screw to Leica M39 screw adapter, this has now arrived and it works perfectly on my Panasonic G1 with a Leica M39 to Micro 4/3's adapter. It's beautifully made, I know it was expensive at US$51 but at least it was cheaper than the last one I missed out on in November which went for US$60.

Glad to hear it was worth it. I have ordered one of the Miranda to 4/3 adaptors anyway, the one to Leica M39 is so useful though, as any Miranda could then be used on my Leica, Russian or Periflex. Stephen.

Hi now I'm looking for the Orion adapters and they are like looking for rocking horse s**t, wish me luck. Richard Good luck with Orion, about the only item that turns up on Ebay are the Orion Bellows units, sold under the Orion name well into the Miranda years, I suspect due to low sales for the relatively expensive top quality unit.
