In the 1980's a friend gave me an album of photos. Apparently they were taken by a relative on a 'motor' tour of the Grenoble area of France. Looking at the car, which I cannot identify and the clothes, this would be pre WW1 Having photographed the contents, after contacting them, I sent the album to the Town Hall in Grenoble. Never heard a word from them since! Some of the photos had captions, this one was in Nyons. This picture is about 20% of the original, shows two men admiring two girls walking past. I have found some of the locations on Google Earth, this square has changed, with car parking in the centre, but the arches are still there. This must have been a pretty good camera for its time.
