When it comes to ugly come to me. Folmer and Schwing 3-1/4" x 4-1-4" Auto Graflex Circa 1921 This is an SLR. Funny thing is after about 45 minutes of trying everything on it I got it figured out. But today's DSLR confound me after even 45 days? ?? Mickey

The Folmer and Schwing is in your collection, Mickey? It looks like a Mentor Reflex, an SLR which is defenitely above my budget... Hans

it's not ugly, it is a thing of beauty. There would be room in my collection for one of these.

The Folmer and Schwing is in your collection, Mickey? It looks like a Mentor Reflex, an SLR which is defenitely above my budget... Hans Hansz, It has been in my collection since April 2000. It was one of my earliest acquisitions. Also one of my first eBay purchases. I think I may have paid too much at $64.50 without a lens. It came with an attachment for a film pack. There is a brass plate attached to it Sands, Hunter & Co. 37 Bedford St. Strand. London, W.C. but the eBay vendor was American. Several years later I learned about BUTKUS so I now have a very good reprint of its owners manual. It is only 8 pages long. My little Canon point and soot is 30 pages! The hood is black but for some reason unknown to me photographs a reddish brown. Mickey ##################################### Philbrich, You are right. As you know beauty is only skin deep. This has an inner beauty that glows when one operates it. Mickey

Hansz - charming in a nostalgic sort of way. Looks a little like a cross between a Minion and a Dalek.

You want ugly? Here you go: I actually had one of these, and it worked. But just awful.

I saw one of these in Real Camera. I don't think the photo shows how big this thing is - it's huge. I wouldn't like to carry one around with me this thing weighs a ton.
