The image is missing
If you use google search and select images you can type or paste the URL of your original image. Google finds the exact one and shows where else it is. Not sure if it works on a tablet.

A beautiful photograph. My family and I lived there for many years. I recall being at that place in the winter when the steam was billowing about the oyster bars when there were few tourists. The sounds of the fog horn at the Golden Gate, seagulls, seals bellowing in the harbour. Good memories.

The sounds of the fog horn at the Golden Gate, seagulls, seals bellowing in the harbour. Good memories. David Thanks David as we enjoy visiting friends and relatives who live there. Of course never go there during the height of tourism as apparently quite a few others also enjoy visiting . . . Tarragona, Spain - Port de Cambrils, located just south of Barcelona. Another fresh seafood city! We were just driving around and came upon this place close to the magic hour and I thought this would make a good postcard shot. Apparently others thought so as I just found this shot used in a tourist website without my knowledge until now -> Cambrils, Spain. I suppose it is entirely possible someone else could have been there at the exact time and position and have also taken the exact same shot . . .

Thanks Wayne. Ugly Kids in an Ugly World. I wondered about this billboard in Las Vegas and it turned out to be a April Fool's joke on a couple of local radio DJs.

If anyone goes to SF, there is a small place called Swan's oyster and seafood place on Franklin(?) that is a non tourist place where locals wait in line to get in. It is the most unbelievable place for oysters and cold split lobsters and hot chowders etc. don't tell anyone. Waiting in line for the best oysters in the worlld. David

W for Water. This fountain contained a large trough facing the road, for horses which they generously shared with the birds. On the sidewalk side was a perpetually running fountain of wonderful ice cold water for people. Below that was a small trough for cats and dogs. I think the fire hydrant was exclusively for the dogs. I never did see a horse use it and cats like their privacy. Birds seem to prefer human heads but are, fortunately, poor shots. Five or six species of animals were often seen drinking at the same time. "The peaceable kingdom". I have been frequently out of commission since last June and have taken very few photos so there may be repeats in my postings. Mickey

I will have to look it up the next time I am there. X marks the spot of the steel bridge at the Georgia/Tennessee state line where the Toccoa River becomes the Ocoee River.

Y for Catalina PBY a beautiful aircraft in my opinion taken with my Sigma 28-200mm lens on the Sony A6000. This airshow convinced me that the Sony was a worthy replacement for my DSLR.
