Another "lowlife" lens I got at a bargain price. The images turned out well, it is a good lens. I believe this is another late plastic lens frome late 1990. No reason to avoid them, if used correct they deliver nice results. These images are done with Fomapan 400, Fomadon P developer. I never have used Fomadon P, and I was surprised by the nice outcome. The lens on Maxxum 5000 camera. Image crisp and clear, nice tones. Here a very high contrast scene, film and developer gives good result in both dark and highlights. It also demonstrates the close focus capability of the lens, 0.38 cm (approx 15 inch). Those shells are not big in size. Also here, nice tonal range from film/developer. When I use Fomadon LQN dark areas tends to become more dark with few details. Fomadon P give more detail in dark and bright area. Fomadon P might be a good landscape developer in high contrast scenes and a good general working developer. As for the cheap lens I think it deliver good results. I had a orange filter on lens, giving some more contrast/better clouds.
