If you want a laugh over Christmas, see Ebay no 171604335862 a totally honest listing, but it is FED Zarya posing as a Leica, with a "Summicron" standard lens, an Industar in disguise! I would restate the listing is genuine and honest, no deception, but then would you or anybody try to pass off a Zarya as a Leica!! Stephen.

I wonder what drove the first owner and original builder to go to the bother of re-engraving the names and changing the lens name ring. Then adding the cap that looks like it has been covered with car body filler, and then engraved, I suspect it was meant to be sprayed black, with white "engraving". No Leica even vaguely looks like a Fed Zarya.
I wonder if you could convert a Zarya to a rare Contax 1936 Olympic gift camera........
