For small photo editing tasks, an online photo editor could be handy. There are a lot of them, my pick is Photoshop express editor. It is easy to use and not cluttered with menus/choices. An online editor could be nice if your own computer is not available or when travelling, other uses too. No installation, perfect as a beginner photo editor, or saving some bucks using a free simple editor.

Hmm, not exactly photoshop. I like the previews but overall, not my cup of tea. I find my Fast Stone image viewer suitable for most basic functions. You are limited to image size too. I had to put my image in Fast Stone and re-size it before uploading. OK for laypersons, but us advanced photogs need pro tools.

The one I use is Photoscape. It's free, easy to navigate, and fun to use. Doug

Thanks Phil pointing out image limit size - not good. The trusty Pixlr editor might be much better - accepted large images, and even more easy user Interface: Photoscape is a promising piece of software, often overlooked. I have used it a few times, but the user Interface seemed some outdated. Later, being more used to the menus, it is a quite capabe program. But if travelling, or other occations, an online editor could be handy. Thanks for pointing out weaknesses. May be other collectors have a favourite photo editor, let us know!
