I recently revisited my Leica Digilux 3 and L1 twin 4/3rds DSLRs and realised that I just enjoy using them more than more recent acquisitions.
Unfortunately the Leica zoom is damaged, but I found it far too unwieldily.
I now have a pair of Olympus standard an telephoto zooms, inexpensive on e-bay, which are much more comfortable with the twins. The squinty finder, shades of Leica II, is not good with legacy Rokkors.
I am seriously considering a 25mm f2.8, at around £100, just to make one camera more compact, I now use a Sony A35 with 35mm f1.7 as I like the nom 50mm length.
I am not sure whether spending more on an obsolete camera, rather than say, a Minolta/Sony 50mm, and system is a little odd?

Are you using old lenses meant for film cameras with an adapter? Thats what I do with my Sony A6000 and my NEX5. The A6000 had all but replaced my Nikon and my Pentax DSLR. I have a nice litle 35mm Minotar lens from a broken Minox CL on my NEX and it fits nicely in my pocket.
Plenty of folks use old lenses. They are muuuuuch cheaper than the equivalent and arguably much better. And of course there is a much bigger selection.

Thanks, but the tiny 4/3rds finder is difficult to focus properly. My favourite Rokkor is the 135 f3.5 which equates to a lightweight 270 equ when used on infinity. I am considering a Samsung adapter for Rokors on the NX 1000 which should be OK.
