Hello to all. I've been and olympus fan since my first OM-1n in 1978. Now have 16 OM's from the M-1 to the 4t. Missing only a 3t and a Black M-1 (If there really is one). Just obtained a 1000mm Zuiko to add to the other 48 lenses. Been working on the "definative" list of the OM system. Currently contains 400 items. Have about 80% of the list. Hoping to get in touch with other Olympus collectors..

Hi and welcome rono. A reply as quick as this is not normal on this forum. Others will be along soon. Your Oly collection sounds awesome, share pics with us.
I was a big Oly fan until I had problems. I discovered the service department did not hold spares or offer service for my OM10 or OM40 which I needed for my freelancing. I swopped over to Nikon.

If it were anything else, this would qualify as an obsession. But, since it's Olympus, it's just recognition of reality... you can't have too much.

Just to make you feel at home, I recently acquired an Olympus OM-3 "as-is" that turned out to only have a minor cosmetic flaw but is in otherwise perfect working condition with the meter accurate to my Sekonic spot meter. With that I now have good working examples of the OM-1, 2, 3 & 4. BTW, are you strictly a Yoshihisa Maitani fan or do you also have other Olympus products not necessarily invented by Yoshihisa Maitani?

Welcome. Another Oly fan here - both of Maitani's design and the 1960's 35xx rangefinder series.

Guess I'm a Matani fan. Have some Pen's and XA's. But mostly OM's. Have a few of the 35mm range finders. From Olympus. Latest addition a M-system 135mm. Fun to find the early items. Also have a FTL just fore comparison

Nice camera, I've never see one of these in the flesh. They were only on the market a few months before Leitz started grumbling about the use of the letter M.
A shame your photo has restricted sharing, so we can't see it on this site - but no problem downloading.

Let's try this again. Olympus M-1 with M-system 28mm and Pen Flash CL. Uses flash bulbs!
