The first link you posted is good, if you follow all steps nothing should go wrong. Best is to understand what is going on in the different parts of the camera for each step. It helped me a lot to remember all steps.
I can shoot 13 frames on a roll of Fomapan with my Kiev 80

I got 12.5 on mine. Turns out that one of my magazines is a bit faulty. I can't get the insert to go all the way in, no matter what I try. It will pop in after much fiddling, but I have no idea how...

After using this camera and getting only ten or so shots due to shutter problems have consigned it to the display shelf. I looked at ARAX and contacted them but a CLA, shutter repair and bright screen plus postage back and forth between UK and Ukraine would cost about £250. Too much for a camera that's really only worth half that.
