Just a hobby collector of 35mm cameras from the 1950s through to the early 1980. I have full details of my collection on a dedicated web site, unimaginatively called My 35mm Film Camera Collection. Hoping some of the folks on here can fill in information gaps for some of these lesser known cameras.

Hello Johnbear and wellcome to this forum. i've cheked out your website nicely constructed site and really informative. i admire your stubborness in not willing to pay more than 23 £ for a camera :-)( i'm a bit jealous on that) still you've got a nice collection toghether and it seems you put a lot of work in documenting each camera. I can higly recommend other forum members to have a look at your web site it's worth it !

I have a couple of the cameras mentioned, the Agilux and the Vito B (small V/F). Both have been used. The Agilux is nice to use and the lever wind and shutter is a delight to use, but it will not rewind unless the shutter is completely cocked, difficult to do when you suddenly find yourself at the end of a film halfway through winding on.

Nice website, John, everything in HTML? Or are you using other toolboxes?

Thanks for your kind comments guys, and to answer Hansz's question ... yes I do my website old school too. using just a text editor. Anyway, I look forward to picking your brains when my next little known camera finds it's way into my collection.
