I very much doubt that spare film canisters are going to be easily found. The Maurer was strictly a pro camera, used as News Cameras or in Lab research uses and cine animation. The film transport mechanism and shutter was essentially silent as the camera recorded sound internally. They were very well made, and should still function, but need the power leads and control leads etc. 16 mm film is still made in types to suit, but cost is high now, and processing expensive, if even available. I doubt the cartridges would be easy to find outside a clearance sale of a complete outfit. Ebay might turn them up occasionally on their own.

Power lead and remote head are also items I that I would like to match up with this camera body (or at least establishing what the connector pinouts are so I can engergize and operate it).
Are there any recomended alternate forums which host subject matter experts and/or collectors of Maurer camera's?
