This lens had fungus on one of the inner elements. I started by removing the name ring. Then, I unscrewed the grubscrew in the front tube. This allowed the tube, and the front element group, to be unscrewed.
The front element group can be split into separate parts - the piece in the centre is the one with fungus.
I also removed the rear element, and cleaned it. Here you see it ready to be replaced, with a very useful tool - normally used for regrinding valves in car engines.
