Here is another old guy that collects (and uses) antique and classic cameras. Lately studying and cleaning up the Pre-WWII Ansco Memo. Some claim it was the first 35mm camera in the United States. Certainly the most successful. I suppose the QRS and Ellison bakelite cameras may have preceded the Memo...I haven't seen any documentation to that effect. And, of course, I have a few Kodak box cameras, some Zeiss Ikon and a smattering of others.

hope you enjoy reading these threads as much as I.. there are plenty of clever people here with much knowledge (I'm not one of them) if you need answers to anything photographic .. so welcome aboard

Sorry for the delay in posting...life got in the way for a while.
I have more cameras than I like to think about (far more than my wife would like to see), and I trust a lot of the expertise I've found here. Hope you come to feel the same way. Welcome aboard.
