I have come to replace my Samsung NX100 by a more recent NX1000. This will be my new DX 20 Megapixel lens test bench. At the moment i've only got the FD to NX adapter, so here's a test i did with some vintage canon FD glass on the NX1000. This is what the setup looked like. To my surprise the 55mm 1:1.2 is the best in the 50mm range, even wideopen it is better than the 1:1.4 and the 1:1.8! The Angénieux 2x35 is worthless wideopen and gets good at 5.6 however i still think this lens is an expensive piece of s**t that has given trouble from the day i've got it. The FD 200mm 2.8 even though it isn't regarded as a good lens by canon enthousiasts did gave me very pleasing results. The FD 100-200 5.6 zoom is as to be expected rather useless. In comparison the original samsung kit zoom lens gave no where near the quality of the canon glass, but then again what would you have expected? Other tests will follow the moment other adapters will arrive ( and free time allows me to fool around with them)
