I am never, ever going to fall for this one!
Fairly recently some eBay sellers are posting two or three poor photos, then in the description it says something like 'found in attic clearance, don't know much about cameras - study the photos carefully because they form part of the description.' No they don't! So you buy it, the mirror is crazed, the viewfinder dirty, the back is twisted, the wind-on doesn't work, it's covered in tobacco tar and the lens is full of fungus. (But you didn't study the photos!!!!)

I once questioned a seller, he stated that the camera was in good condition, then further down the description he said untested. So I said how do you know that it is in good condition when you haven't tested it! The repy was rather rude............

Just recently I have put a few items on ebay to sell, then a few days later they appear in a sidebar on separate sites, as something that ebay thinks that I might want to buy. Potty!
