Hello
I am new to the forum.
I have collected Rollei cameras in the past but have recently begun to reduce my collection. I am down to two German-made SL35's and a few original Zeiss lenses. I joined hoping to find some advice on SL35 repair. I would like to combine my two SL35's into one nice, functional camera.
I'm also hoping to find someone to repair a jammed shutter on a Minox 35.
Any help out there?
Alan

As a first suggestion, run a google search on "camera repair denver colorado"

Sorry, I do not have any useful advice. Minox 35 had very good optics but a dodgy shutter. Years ago when I had two of them giving up the ghost I settled for Rollei 35 instead as my pocket camera. Mechanically fiddly and not as automatic, but manageable.
Assuming that your battery is Ok, the shutter electrics is the prime suspect. There is apparently some advice on the net, but I extracted the lens and experimented instead of delving into micro-soldering jobs.
