Hello everyone. My name is Davide and I am an Italian collector. I especially love the rangefinder cameras, the fixed lens slr and also the camera boxes so I tried to orientate my collection in this direction. I actually have 348 cameras: almost all working, some of them valuable, many others are gifts from friends and relatives who know my passion. Passion that I have been cultivating for many years, since I visited the repair shop of a collector in my city, after losing the battery door of the Flash Fujica that my father gave me for my 10th birthday. I am an amateur photographer and I enjoy small photo-repair jobs. I find this forum and I find it very interesting, I find almost unbelievable that someone shares my mania and that makes me very happy. If you want to take a look at my collection click on the following link, collectiblend.com/Cameras/mycamprofile.php?uid=3192Please be nice in the comments, I'm not a rich guy, i'm only a Radiology technician and please forgive my school English.

Davide,
Welcome to DFS. You have a very impressive collection and they are so well presented.

Many thanks Mickey. Unfortunately they aren't in perfect condition, on the other hand they are old ladies. :-)

Wonderful collection. There are many cameras there that I have never heard of. Are there any that are your favourites to use?

Hi my name is Phil. I haven't been here for a while. My life has changed over the last couple of years. Now semi retired I have been re-thinking my collection. Now it's mostly interchangeable lens rangefinders. I have a bunch of Japenese and European Leica copies Altix and Braun cameras with lenses. When I've figured out how to post pics again I'll post. The board hasn't seen much action, it seems, for a while.

Thanks Rachel I hope to be back on here more often. I see it's pretty quiet these days and I'm sorry to see the loss of Randy.

Hi there, Phil - I'm not much on here, either, now. Interesting cameras are harder to come by, too.

Hi Phil, Collecting can be stessful, still. My main interest is Zeiss Ikon and - for example - variants of the Ikonta 522/24, if you want them all, is hard work! And than I even don't mention the variants of the Cocarette and/or Icarette... Hans
