Konica made some great compacts, I use a Konica A4 a bit with great results from its 35 / 3.5 lens. I've also got a very nice C35 MF with a Hexanon 38 / 2.8 lens, but that's in my repair box at the moment. The camera looks in great condition but the film wind sounds as though it is seizing up. Which is a shame, I think it could be a great camera.

That's a very handsome camera, very stylish.

The Agfa at Poundland is very good, and rumoured to be Fuji, possibly Fujicolor.

I have a virtually mint one with a dead selenium cell, it's free except for postage.

MY MINOLTA 7000i. ERGONOMIC AND WINNING DESIGN FOR THE FIRST SERIES DYNAX. IN MY OPINION IS A VERY COLLECTOR'S ITEM. IS VERY UNUSUAL THE DISPLAY PLUGGED INTO ANGLED HANDLE. View AttachmentThat is a very nice camera, although I rarely use mine - or the other Minolta AF cameras I've got, two 7000's and a 5000i. I got them by default really, buying bagfulls of cameras and lenses just to get one or two items I wanted, and now I've got some superb cameras and lenses from the last of the auto focus era that I rarely use. Actually, the two 7000's and the 5000i have not been used by me at all. I need to get a Sony dslr to use the lenses !

The metal gate. I've walked through this gate so many times over the last 40 years, I've photographed it nearly as many times, I love the design and setting of the simple metal gate. But this is the first picture that of it that I like, and it was taken in a storm, driving wind and rain, with a heavy Vivitar Series 1 70-210 / 2.8 on my Sony NEX, and I used a monopod. All the pictures showing the gate in detail, taken in sunshine, turn out boring and the same. In silhouette with the vivid green foliage it looks 'right'- I'm pleased with it anyway.

For some reason Photobucket works better on Firefox than on Chrome, it's just about unusable on Chrome. I run Adblocker on both, but I think some kind of script runs in the background of Chrome that mimics the adverts, I don't see them but the site behaves as though they are being displayed.
I've just read that 'Snapjoy', another photo hosting site, is closing and are saying that if users don't download their pictures off the site within a certain time they will be lost.

I have a problem with Photobucket when I refer friends to my photos and the link doesn't work. My name online there is "biloraradix" but the name cannot be searched for some reason. Here's the link to my albums: s1279.photobucket.com/user/biloraradix/library/?sort=6&page=0Please let me know if you can see the albums. Yes, well - the link took me to your photobucket but it's so slow that I couldn't load any page of thumbnails before it timed out, but that could be my slow internet connection as well as Photobucket being slow. But the advertising showed up instantly. It's the same when I look at my Photobucket, the ad's come up straight away and my pictures sometime later, if it doesn't time out. For a service that carries advertising to pay for itself I think it's poor, they should spend some of the revenue to provide the service they promise.

I've got some pictures on Photobucket, but it slow, hard to navigate and the adverts drive me mad. I used Flickr for many years and loved it - until the recent changes and it's junk, slower than cold molasses and redesigned for portable devices such as iphones. As far as photgraphers go, it is dreadful. So I've transferred all my pictures to Ipernity, which is a good copy of how Flickr used to be, with some improvements. It's actually very good and intuitive to use, and there's a decent amount of storage for free. www.ipernity.com/home/294337that's a link to my Ipernity photstream, you can see from that what to expect, and easily go to their home page and sign on.

That 28 has a look of a Minolta lens about it, but I'm not certain. The fully shrouded back was something Minolta did a lot. I've checked against my Minolta MD lenses and nothing matches, the Minolta's have a white diamond or triangle as the focus mark, but all my Tokina's have the red line and dot.

you spent your $5 wisely, that's a very nice lens for the money. At that price the camera could be a rear cap!
