Thought I had an SRT101.... Could have sworn I had an SRT101 (I bought it on Randy's recommendation if I remember correctly), I got it at the same time as an XG-M with a Vivitar 28mm, and a Rokkor 50-135. You know team, I can't find that camera - and I've never sold a camera in my life! Aaaaaghhh! There's no hope for me - I have to start cataloguing! Regards - John John, I empathize with you. I've been searching for a set of genuine Pentacon electric extension tubes and can't find them anywhere. I have the box sans the tubes! They're around somewhere and one of these days they'll appear. This past weekend I began placing my cameras by brand or lens mount (where several brands fit the category) in 15 Qt. plastic tubs. In spite of filling six tubs with 7 cameras each, a seventh with lenses and two much larger tubs with MF lenses and boxed items, my computer/camera room is still cluttered. I need more tubs and I also need to dispose of some ratty bags, boxes and stuff. I have managed to establish a data base on my computer and catalog the majority of my photo gear. Anything newly acquired is quickly added to the list so it doesn't become overlooked. Date received and the price paid can be valuable information for my heirs should something unfortunate happen. I hope to be around a little while longer! Walker

John: I do it all the time. My wife has probably lost count of the times I've wandered around the house muttering "where is that blasted ******?" I seem to misplace lenses, lens caps and battery covers most often, but I've lost whole cameras for days, too! Walker: Years ago, I created an Excel spreadsheet to catalog all my cameras and related equipment. Worked fairly well, too...until I fell out of the habit of using it, about 70-80 cameras ago.

I understand and that's why I do my level best to enter the information as quickly as possible. On items I've ordered from ebay, I've taken to being detailed on my MO stubs so that I can accurately enter the information upon receipt. I recently went over two months without ordering a single thing from ebay so it's not so much of a problem now. Walker

Being self-employed, I have to do my accounts once a year.
This means looking through Bank statements.
This year I thought while I do this boring task, I'll enter all my Pay pal expenditure.
Not a sensible move. I certainly should give up eBay - it takes more than the taxman! I was horrified - treble what I thought I had spent. Its all these little bits an pieces as well as the cameras.
Now I have this brand new Minolta X700 camera case and no camera to go with it. Should I buy an X700 or sell the case?
Decisions, decisions..........

Paul: You know if you don't sell that case soon, you're eventually going to have the camera to put into it!
