I'm looking for examples of the Mamiya Sketch and Mamiya Wide E 35mm rangefinders...I'd love to have (or be able to afford) one of the rare, original curved nameplate Mamiya Prismat SLRs, or the unique Mamiya Mammy (c.1953). I'm also looking for a front lens cap that will fit either the Mamiya CS or SX 14mm fisheye lens. ACTUALLY, THIS FRONT LENS CAP IS THE ITEM I WOULD LIKE TO FIND FIRST. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL LENS, AND IT SCARES ME NOT TO HAVE THE CAP TO PROTECT THE GLASS!

Hey Herron,
Do you shoot much? I'd love to see some examples of shots through this camera, and a bunch more that you have too ;- )
Cheers
Jules

Jules: I already have quite a few shots posted in various threads in this Forum. Unfortunately, none with this lens. I do have shots made with it (or one very similar).
I traded the 14mm Mamiya SX lens shown - even up - to a friend of mine in Germany, for the similar 14mm Mamiya CS lens that actually fits the NC1000s mount without an adapter. I've never gotten around to taking a picture of the camera with the correct lens on it!
I'll try to dig out a couple of the images, scan and post them.
By the way - I'm STILL looking for the lens cap!

It’s a ZE quartz with a Mamiya 50mm lens. I do so like Mamiyas, of course I have a c330, a c330s, a 645AFD, and now a ZEQ. OY, when will it ever end?? Jules PS your website is excellent, top of the line. Thanks much.

Jules, thanks for the kind words about the web site...it has definitely been a labor of love for the past several years. I only wish I could find a way to make it pay for itself (as well as support my collecting habit) The Mamiya NC1000 is still my favorite Mamiya...but I have the most fun with some of the old rangefinders! I still have to dig out and scan some images made with that 14mm CS lens, however! But, if everyone starts getting as hooked as I am on Mamiya, the auction prices are going to go up! ;D

By the way, I'm STILL looking for that 14mm lens cap (almost forgot what I started out to do here)!

I'm still looking for a Mamiya Sketch rangefinder... ...I'd also love to find (I'll afford it one way or another!) one of the original curved nameplate Mamiya Prismat SLRs (working or not), like this one: Anyone finds one that's available...please let me know!
