If any of you has a Pentax (M42) rear lens cap, I'm in need of one. I also need a front lens cap for a Super-Takumar 55/1.8 I purchased recently. My local photo stores don't have either, not even a clip-in lens cap in 49mm. Not even the photo clearance store has any.
I'd be happy to buy one of each from you or to trade for some bits I might have lying around.

Gene, you can get a nice clip on 49mm lens cap from CAMERAFILTERS.COM for $1.00 plus shipping. I buy from them a lot and they have lotsa neat stuff cheap.

Alas... Just checked and camerafilters.com only offers shipping to Canada at $20 US via Fedex. Too dear, and I hate UPS and Fedex deliveries. I'll have to look around some more.

Update: I found another site that I'd forgotten about. I've used it before and they have inexpensive shipping (USPS) to Canada. It's a small business -- the guy also sells on eBay -- but he often has some useful goodies in stock: www.thecamerahunter.com/Gene |

I have used the camera hunter on occassion. He seems to have a lot of odds and ends that one cannot seem to find elsewhere. Quite reasonable.
