This was taken at that small lake near the house...where I take a lot of pictures. The "Color" everyone looks for in fall shots is already gone...but the colors that remain I find interesting in their own right. I'd like to know what everyone thinks.

Personally I find the yellows and browns as the leaves curl just as neat as shooting bright red maples. One of my favourites around here is when the Tamarac (sp?) go bright yellow. Only evergreen to lose it's needles in the winter and leaps out at you when they're mingled with regular evergreens.

Had swans in that other posting (they were so small in the frame I had to blow up a section to really see them, but they were there)!

Ron,
Have to agree with the others that the colors you see after the leaves have fallen can be very picturesque. The composition of this pic and dramatized by that sky...well...great shot!!
Wanted to get out myself for some late fall pics, but have been fighting the flu(or whatever) for the past week.
