Hi, This isn't strictly nostalgia because for something to be nostalgic you ought to remember it. I don't remember this being taken, but I thought you might find some interest in the car. It was taken by my Dad, of me propped up on cushions behind the wheel of his mid 1920s open-top Humber. It was taken in 1931 when I was two and half years old. Absolutely no idea what camera or film he used, but it looks to have been a decent quality camera. I scanned it in from a 6x9 contact print in our family album, and apart from taking out a few finger marks and scratches it's as taken. Peter

Gosh, Ron...
You look so cute and innocent here. Bet Mommy and Daddy were proud of you.
Yes, you do look a little different now...mostly in the...uh...neck area...lol...!!!
I very seldom put on weight but when I do...it all seems to go to the neck; secondly to my beer belly.

LOL ;D Back in the time when I used to have a neck! These days, Ron (past 20 years, actually), I go straight from head to body without much of a transition!

Found one in an album my mother gave me. Taken Christmas 1964. I vaguely remember getting a pair of pettipants with little red bows and jingle bells on the side......I had to show them to EVERYBODY!!!! Bob, sadly, has no childhood pictures here. He tells me his sister has one of him at 18 with long wavy dark hair down to his shoulders. That I can't wait to see, lol. Sherri

Sherri,
What a cute lil' tyke!!! That smile is precious!!!!!
I issued a challenge for members to post pics of themselves as children...but so far have seen only Peter, Ron Herron , you and me.
If a member does not have any...understandable. But I think the rest must be bashfull or something.
Again...a pretty pic of a beautifull child...one to keep and cherish!!!! Thanks for posting it!!

Here we go the only picture of me before age 16. After my mother showed this picture to the world I would not let them take any more. Jack

Ron
It maybe, being of german extraction and living in an Italian nieghborhood during WWII, I learned alot of nice Italian customs and phrases. It maybe also why I married an Italian woman the second time around. Missed all the fun of my early child hood.

Jack,
Neat pic!!! Is lil' tyke you naked there as it appears!!! Baby pics like that are just so cute...love 'em.
Today, things can be a little different. Last year my brother took a naked pic of his new granddaughter...the usual naked baby kind.
Took it to a Kmart 1 hour lab in Pennsylvania. Yo ho...some over reactive tech turned the film and him over to the police for child pornography. Fortunately the police looked at such as what it really was and gave the film back to him. Took it to another mini lab and had no problem.
