These were taken last October in the town of Young. The same town that the train station photo was taken in. This town has seen a lot of things, like the gold rush that originally bought settlers to the area. Among these were many chinese, who were quite oppressed during this time. At one point they rebelled and it came close to civil war. Here are some of the old buildings in town. 1) Town Hall 2) Commercial Hotel, one of many watering holes in town 3) Post Office 4) Millards Warehouse, now home to small offices and retail shops. 5) Old bridge 6) Show grounds 7) Show grounds pavilion 8) Tourist Information Centre. Young is the cherry capital of Australia. Most of our cherries are grown in this region. This is why the towns symbol is the cherry. To show this they made a statue of some cherries outside what is now the tourist information centre. Taken with my EOS 100QD using Kodak Supra 800 (photos 1 and 2) and my Fujica ST605n using Kodak Gold 400, both films expired, and an assortment of lenses. Heath
