Hi, Thought you might like to see a couple more oldies from my sorting out. The first one is of a country breakers in the mid 1950s. I'd like to go along there now with a wheelbarrow and collect all those pre-war headlamps and other bits. They were going for scrap prices then, but today they'd fetch a fortune on ebay. Ah well, rust in peace. No idea what the film was, but it was 6x9, looks a bit grainy and has an Ortho look about the blank sky and contrasts. I had two 6x9 cameras at that time, a Voigtländer and an Ensign but I don't know which one was used here. The second is of the auctioneers at a Walton and Hipkiss vintage car auction in one of the big sheds at Stoneleigh Exhibition Ground in the mid 1980swith most of the light coming from a skylight opposite the one you can see in the roof. Not sure of the camera, probably Canon, but the film was HP4 pushed to 800, handheld at about 1/15 sec because the auctioneers didn't allow flash. It might distract their eyes from a biddder. It's about two thirds of the neg, and I think there's just a trace of camera shake. PeterW

Peter,
The second photo is greening up nicely. Perhaps Ilford could explain why.

Sorry, Mickey. Despite what I said in an earlier post I scanned it RGB from habit ... and forgot to take the colour out! Here it is again: PeterW
