Once again, a photo taken by my father of his father at work in the mill about 1950. My grandfather died in his sleep in 1952 at age 67. This was taken by natural light with a Rollei. My father owned both a 'Cord & a "Flex so it could have been either. Walker

Walker, this is a superb industrial portrait. Your father was quite the photographer -- I can see where you inherited your photo genes! There's something so fine about a good TLR shot. Beautiful tonality, texture and detail in this.

Thanks everyone. Finding the negative for this picture really pleased me as I have very few images of my grandfather on my father's side of the family. I'm sure I'll find more in time but I like this one for a lot of reasons. I was not quite 9 when he died but I do remember him. He was always kind to my brother and me.
