Has anyone had success correcting the color caste from these light sources either with filters on the lens or processing/printing.

Hi Jack, It might be possible to get some compensation by using a lens filter from the other side of the colour circle from the colour of the light source (see www.james-robinson.ltd.uk/colour.htm ) but choosing the strength of the filter from the image in the viewfinder might be difficult. The same applies to filtering on a colour enlarger, though trying to judge what the reversed colours will be from the negative image on a baseboard plus the orange mask has always been beyond me. The easiest way, and one that can be seen and corrected instantly, is using Photoshop or a similar image editor that allows you to change colour balance. Peter
